AI Consulting · Stage 01, start here
AI consulting for commercial real estate. Know where to start.
PSV is an AI consultant for commercial real estate firms. We audit how the firm runs today, set the AI strategy and security posture with your IT team, and hand you a roadmap that sequences the work. It is the stage before anything gets built.

Definition
An AI consultant for commercial real estate, defined.
An AI consultant for commercial real estate (CRE) helps a firm decide where AI pays off, sets the rules for using it safely with firm data, and leaves a sequenced plan.
The clients are brokerages, owners and operators, investment firms and lenders. The work covers underwriting, deal sourcing, lease and document review, asset management and investor reporting.
PSV does it as one fixed-price engagement, typically $10K to $25K, with ten deliverables, and we publish what an AI consultant for CRE costs. Or keep PSV on for ongoing advisory and training, at $2K to $5K a month.
Go deeper by area: underwriting with Claude, off-market deal sourcing, asset management, or what CRE AI is and how teams use it.
What we evaluate
The work, the systems, and the decisions behind them.
Mapped with the people doing the work, not from an org chart.
Workflows and repetitive work
Where the hours actually go, and which of them repeat.
Systems and data
What holds firm context today: email, spreadsheets, drives, CRM, property systems.
Approval paths
Who signs off on what, and where work waits.
Key decisions
The judgment calls that drive outcomes, and the information they depend on.
Institutional knowledge
What lives in people's heads and nowhere else.
Security requirements
What your data is allowed to touch, and where the work must run.
Highest-value AI opportunities
Where AI pays off first, ranked by value against effort.
Deliverables
What you walk away with, whoever builds it.
Ten documents, specific to your firm. Written so your team, or another firm, could implement from them.
- 01
Workflow map
How work actually moves through the firm: who does what, in which tools, and where the time goes.
- 02
AI strategy
What the firm is trying to get out of AI, agreed with leadership, and what it is deliberately not doing yet.
- 03
AI policy and security posture
The rules for what data AI may touch and who approves what, written with your IT function so it clears their review rather than going around it.
- 04
Systems and data map
Every system that holds firm context, what lives in it, and how it connects.
- 05
Knowledge consolidation plan
How what the firm knows gets centralized: which sources come together first, in what order, and who owns each one.
- 06
AI readiness assessment
Where the firm stands today: current usage, team capability, data quality, and the gaps that matter.
- 07
Prioritized use-case roadmap
The opportunities ranked and sequenced, so the first build funds the case for the second.
- 08
Recommended architecture
What to build, how it connects to your systems, and what stays out of scope.
- 09
Company Brain scope
Which knowledge, processes, and decisions the Brain should capture first for your firm.
- 10
Deployment recommendation
Where the system should run: PSV-managed cloud, a dedicated environment, or your own cloud.
How it leads to implementation
Start here when the firm is not ready yet.
This stage scopes the Company Brain and the workflow build. It exists to answer questions, not to add a phase.
When consulting comes first
You know AI should be carrying more of the work, but there is no policy, nobody owns it, and IT has not signed off on anything. We settle the strategy and the security posture with them, then hand you a roadmap, so the build starts from evidence rather than a guess.
When we skip it
The problem is already well-defined. Mature Claude workflows that need shared intelligence, for example, go straight to Company Brain implementation. No discovery phase in front, no theatre.
Either way, custom engagements begin at $10,000. Monthly plans are priced separately, below.
Typical investment
Scoped and priced before it starts.
Depending on the functions in scope and the complexity behind them. Fixed price, agreed up front. The deliverables are yours to keep, whether or not PSV builds what they recommend.
$10K to $25K
By the month
Or keep PSV on, by the month.
Ongoing advisory and training, in three plans at $2K to $5K a month. Take it instead of the fixed-price engagement, or after it. This is how PSV stays on as your embedded AI team.
Advisory
$2,000 a month
For a team already using AI that wants a regular outside view.
- Two 45-minute advisory calls a month
- Feedback on one item your team is developing
- Up to four email questions a month
Training + Light Advisory
$3,000 a month
Hands-on sessions built around the priorities you choose.
- Three 60-minute virtual sessions a month
- A hands-on exercise in each session, on your own examples
- Live Q&A and a written takeaway after each session
- One 30-minute advisory check-in a month
- Up to four email questions a month
Training + Advisory
$5,000 a month
More sessions, deeper advisory, and review of what your team is developing.
- Four 60-minute virtual sessions a month
- A hands-on exercise in each session, on your own examples
- Live Q&A and a written takeaway after each session
- Two 45-minute advisory calls a month
- Feedback on up to two items your team is developing
- Up to eight email questions a month
A small build can be included with Training + Advisory once its scope is agreed, delivered in your own Claude workspace or run in PSV-managed cloud. Larger builds are priced separately.
These are starting scopes, set with your firm before the first month. Sessions are built around up to two priorities you choose each month, and email questions are usually answered within two business days.
Proof
Built against the firm's own model, not a template.
Westlake Realty Group is what mapping first buys you: the underwriting system populates the firm's own eight-tab model, because the engagement started from how the firm already works.

How Westlake Realty Group cut underwriting to 20 minutes, then took AI into asset management
Before
Senior time went to rebuilding the numbers behind every decision: six to eight hours to underwrite one offering, and every property budget rolled forward by hand each year.
Now
Every deal lands in the firm's own eight-tab institutional model with comps pulled and every number traced to its source. Senior review takes about 20 minutes. The same approach now runs in asset management, where the firm's Company Brain drafts each property's annual budget from the firm's own records for the operations team to review.

“We can’t speak high enough of you guys. Our team is extremely impressed.”

What does an AI consultant for commercial real estate do?
An AI consultant for commercial real estate (CRE) helps a firm decide where AI pays off, sets the rules for using it safely with firm data, and leaves a sequenced plan. PSV starts there, then builds the systems and trains the team if you continue.
What does PSV's AI consulting cost?
PSV's AI Consulting typically costs $10K to $25K, depending on how many business functions are in scope and how complex the systems behind them are. The price is fixed before the engagement starts, and PSV custom engagements begin at $10,000. Monthly plans are priced separately.
See what an AI consultant for CRE costsCan we hire PSV as consultants by the month?
Yes, in three plans at $2K to $5K a month. Depending on the plan, you get training sessions, advisory calls, feedback on what your team is developing, and email questions.
See the three monthly plansWhat do we actually get?
Ten deliverables: a workflow map, the AI strategy, an AI policy and security posture written with your IT function, a systems and data map, a knowledge consolidation plan, an AI readiness assessment, a prioritized use-case roadmap, a recommended architecture, a Company Brain scope, and a deployment recommendation. All of it specific to your firm, and all of it yours to keep.
Do we need an AI consultant, or can our team do this ourselves?
Not always. Skip this stage if you already know what you want built, or join the CRE AI Institute if your team wants the skills itself. A consultant earns the fee when nobody owns where to start. The free AI Assessment shows which case fits.
See the CRE AI InstituteIs the AI Assessment a free consultation?
It is free, but it is a questionnaire, not a consulting engagement. It takes about ten minutes, then asks for your first name, work email and phone. The mini-report gives your AI maturity stage, the highest-value opportunities, and which engagement fits, if any.
Take the free AI assessmentDo we have to build with PSV afterward?
No. The roadmap is written so that your team, or another firm, could implement from it. If you continue into a build with PSV, it starts from a roadmap that already reflects how your firm works. The engagement stands on its own either way.
Is PSV an AI consultant or a software vendor?
PSV is an AI consulting and engineering firm for commercial real estate. If you continue past AI Consulting, PSV builds the Company Brain and stays on as your embedded AI team. You own what PSV builds for you. PSV's pre-existing tooling is licensed to you.
Read PSV's termsWhich AI tools does PSV consult on?
The ones your team already uses. Employees keep working inside Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, and PSV builds the layer underneath. The engagement includes a recommendation on where the system should run: PSV-managed cloud, a dedicated environment, or your own cloud.
How PSV handles security and dataWhere can we see results or reviews?
In PSV's case studies. Each one names the client, what the work looked like before and what runs now, and some carry a quote from the client. One is summarized earlier on this page.
